Barbara Goldstein has been with Project 2061 since 1989. As a member of the communications department, she acts as administrative coordinator for the communications director and group and assumes additional program duties such as proofreading and editing. She also provides administrative support for director Jo Ellen Roseman. Previously, she provided upper-level administrative support for George Nelson from 1996 to 2001 and for F. James Rutherford from 1989 to 1998.

Prior to working with Project 2061, Goldstein enjoyed a long administrative career in the field of commercial broadcasting, where she served as the operations manager of a 1,000-watt AM radio station. She graduated with a B.A. in history from the University of Maryland, College Park.
