Catherine Tramontana
is senior editor for the Project 2061 communications department.
Her responsibilities include serving as editor of 2061
Today, preparing press releases, and writing, editing,
and providing project management for a variety of publications
and promotional materials.
Before joining Project 2061, Tramontana was an on-site copy editor and proofreader
for EEI Communications, a commercial editorial firm in Alexandria, VA. She
also worked as an editorial/production assistant at Rutgers University Press.
For three years, Tramontana taught expository writing and poetry at Rutgers
University in the Writing Program and the Department of English. She was also
an instructor of writing and reading comprehension in the Equal Opportunity
Fund Summer Program at Rutgers College.
Tramontana holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in literatures in English from Rutgers
University and a B.A. in English and interdisciplinary honors
from Villanova University.
